Membership and Volunteering

With schools facing challenges like shrinking budgets and lack of educational equity, PTA is more important than ever. Make a difference in your child’s education. Join the PTA as a member and/or volunteer the help support teacher and student events.

ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP

Membership is a great way to learn about what’s happening at school, upcoming events, and volunteer opportunities.

A PTA (or PTSA) unit is a local, self-governing membership association whose main purpose is to serve the needs and desires of its members in promoting the health, welfare, safety and education of children and youth.

By affiliating with Oregon PTA, a parent group shows it cares about the future of ALL Oregon schools and students. Through their association with Oregon PTA, an individual PTA enjoys immediate representation statewide and nationally. From the beginning, the work is no longer about just your school’s immediate needs but all of Oregon’s schools’ needs.

Annual membership to the Cleveland High School PTA is $25 per person and can be paid online via the Oregon PTA website (note: dues are $25 plus a $2.50 service fee on this site but you will be issued a membership card immediately)

Monthly Meetings

The Cleveland High School PTA generally meets on the 3rd Wednesday of every month (except December and June) at 7 PM. Our meetings are a great way to hear directly from the Principal and learn about all that is happening at CHS. Please see Events for the link.

Volunteer
